Celebs who chose wedding Tattoos over rings (List)

The advantage of having a Tattoo instead of a wedding ring is that it can't get lost.

• Wedding Tattoos can be the name of your partner or the date you got married.

Gone are the days when one had to wear a wedding band to prove they are married.

Most people are now opting for matching wedding Tattoos.

Some of the celebrities who chose wedding tattoos instead of bands include

1- Bien and Chiki Kuruka

Bien of the famous boy band Sauti Sol has a Tattoo ring.

Speaking in an interview with SpmBuzz, the 'Mbwe Mbwe' hitmaker says he lost his actual wedding ring and opted for a ring tattoo as a permanent replacement.

Chiki still has her wedding ring on.

2- Davido and Chioma

Nigerian megastar Davido and his wife, Chioma have gotten tattoos of each other's names on their ring fingers.

The couple tied the knot in a traditional wedding weeks after the death of their son.

The wedding was Davido's assurance to Chioma that he would love her even without their son being alive anymore.

3. David and Victoria Beckham

The legendary footballer and his model wife opted for wedding Tattoos, and not one.

David has "Victoria" and "99"–a reference to the year they were married–on his hand.

He also got 10 roses on his arms to mark their 10th anniversary.

They also have matching "VIII.V.MMVI" wrist tattoos to mark the date of their secret marriage-renewal ceremony in 2006.

4. Jay Z and Beyonce

Instead of getting rings, the pair tatted the Roman numeral for "4" on their ring fingers, symbolizing their birthdays (Bey's is September 4, Jay's is December 4).

The pair clearly sensed the significance of their birth dates, so they chose to get married on April 4, or 4/4. They both took it a step further when they named their albums 4 and 4:44, by Beyonceé and Jay-Z respectively.
