Complications of pregnancy are health problems that occur during pregnancy.

They can involve the mother’s health, the baby’s health, or both.

So, in this case whose life would you prioritize?

A woman has shared her honest opinion about what her family should do in the event she experiences birth complications.

The opinion went viral- with honest confession starting a tense conversation about pregnancy.

The woman's tweet has elicited mixed reactions with a section agreeing with her while others being in total rejection of her suggestion.

The Twitter user destiny🧁 @dessmv told her future husband that in a situation where she experiences birth complications, he should choose her life over that of their unborn baby.

She told that if he got asked by the hospital of his choice whose life is to be saved in a life-or-death situation - between the mother and child, he should pick her.

"If I ever have birth complications save ME not the baby," she told in a controversial post.

This did not sit well with most Twitter users who condemned her for her opinion.

But she added that her decision was final.

"If you're a man and you disagree with this leave the conversation cause yall will never be put in this predicament"

She added that "Twitter will be a better place when people can respect others' PERSONAL decisions" insisting "and if my future husband doesn’t save me just know he’s getting haunted bad asf"

Here are social media reactions:

@amazonBeau My sister's husband was faced with this decision when she was giving birth. And he decided to save the baby and my sister died. He was so devastated he couldn't see his daughter because she was a reminder of what he did so he only financially supported her. He's fully there for her now.

@DeuceVvs This is really showing how yall feel about babies

@coffeemugmenace Nah you got life insurance, I’m going for the check and fatherhood 😂

@MiaNWonderlandHere’s a thought:

Don’t ever procreate. You are not fit.

You’re welcome.
