Tanzanian star Ben Pol says he never enjoyed his marriage to Kenyan business woman Anerlisa Muigai.

The two were married for almost an year before filling for divorce.

Speaking during an interview with Millard Ayo, the 'Moyo Mashine' hit maker shared

"We started dating in 2018.

When you remove the Instagram photos and that I never enjoyed my marriage.

I never experienced what other people enjoy in marriage.

I was there to be sat down and have photos taken."

Did Anerlisa use him to brand himself?

"I am being neutral but in my perspective we got marriage to complete the picture.

It's like she wanted to tick off her marriage from a list."

Ben Pol says that he was willing to make the relationship work.

"The kind of level and dedication I had towards her is not something I had with someone.

This was my first serious relationship.

I was deep in it and I was OK with it. We do talk and we are not enemies."

The singer in an interview with  Wasafi TV, said he was ready to find love again.

"Are you ready for marriage again?" he was asked.

"Hata sasa hivi, hata kesho. Kabisaa." (Even now, even tomorrow)

Asked whether he was absolutely sure, he said 'Kabisa' which loosely translates to yes or sure.

He admitted that a relationship has slowed down his life before and that he had never thought of having issues like a divorce.

"I have no regrets," he added.

In a past interview with Kalondu Musyimi, the 'Moyo Mashine' hitmaker asked women to shoot their shot at him.

“Mimi I believe that hata kama Hakuna chance, kama chance ni ya kwako, Bado utaipata. Yule alipo anaweza Toka na wewe ukaingia." (I believe that even if there is no chance, if it is yours, you will get it and the opportunity presents itself)

“So shoot your shot, anytime, any day because you never know," he added.
