The brutal murder of fashion guru Edwin Chiloba has caused an uproar online, as Kenyans called for justice.
The fashion guru was allegedly killed and his body stashed in a metallic box and dumped along the Kipenyo - Kaptinga road, in Kapsaret, Uasin Gishu County.
An eyewitness claims that the metal box was dropped in the area by a numberless car.
The matter was reported to Uasin Gishu police who arrived at the scene and upon opening the box, a decomposing body of a man dressed in a woman's clothes was found inside.
It was later established that the deceased was Eldoret-based fashion designer Edwin Chiloba.
Following the confirmation, Kenyans took to social media to mourn Chiloba - many sharing memories they had with him.
Activist Njeri Wa Migwi eulogized the late Chiloba as a bold and passionate human being.
“Edwin Chiloba was an amazing human. He was bold and passionate, his energy was immaculate. He embodied fashion. Someone murdered him cruelly, put his body in a box & dumped his body.
“Edwin we speak your name. May yr blood not spill for nothing. Stop killing queer people,”
