Akothee's daughter, Rue Baby has congratulated and thanked local lawyer Steve Ogolla for marrying her aunt, Cebbie Koks.

Steve Ogolla on Wednesday celebrated a traditional wedding with Cebbie Koks Nyasego who is the younger sister of musician Akothee in a ceremony that took place in Nyanza.

Ogolla uploaded a photo of their event on his Instagram page where Rue Baby wrote a sweet message welcoming him to their clan by marrying her aunt.

"Welcome to the family and congratulations on marrying my aunt," Rue Baby's caption read which was also accompanied by a video compilation of the event.

Rue's statement has been taken by many to be a statement also on behalf of her mother who did not attend her younger sister's wedding.

For a long time, Akothee and Cebbie have been at odds with many verbal wars witnessed this year alone.

A month ago when Ogolla put an engagement ring on Cebbie, the musician made it clear that she had no intention of attending their wedding, something that the world witnessed on Wednesday.

But others also say that Akothee may not have deliberately missed attending the big event of her younger sister because of the miscarriage she suffered.
