Nana Gecaga pens heartfelt exit message after 7 years as KICC CEO

• Nana was the picture of composure packing up her items into boxes.

Nana Gecaga the outgoing KICC CEO is bidding farewell to colleagues and friends as the KICC CEO.

"In life, everything happens for a reason and a season. One of my seasons has come to an end while my next season is just starting."

Nana spoke about completing her tenure in her capacity at the helm of the parastatal.

"29th December 2022 I end my 7 years of duty as @kiccceo @kiccc and 14 years in government and successfully served THREE PRESIDENTS OF KENYA and 26 years altogether in the hospitality industry."

In her farewell speech, she added;

"I want to thank my CS Madam @Pen @. I wish to thank my PS Ummi Bashir, @JohnOloltua and my Chair @ and my entire board and of course the entire staff at KICC."

Nana got light-hearted talking about the great job it was.

"Lastly, I would like to thank all the stakeholders local and International who have contributed to the success in the last 7 years and I ask that you continue to support and walk with the new Acting CEO Madam Patricia Ondeng. It has been a real honour and privilege to serve as CEO and thank you."

In another note to fellow existing CEOs of Magical Kenya, Nana continued;

"The past 6 years have been some of my best serving government and I just want to say well done and congratulations and its been an absolute pleasure and honour working and serving with you. THIS IS NOT GOODBYE BUT SEE YOU SOON."
