The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued a traffic advisory for motorists using Mombasa Road.
The advisory indicates that a section of Mombasa road will be closed for seven days.
The Authority stated there will be a temporary traffic diversion on Mombasa Road towards Nairobi CBD as you approach Subaru Kenya starting Simba Corp Motors to Panesar Center.
“The temporary diversion will be put in place for a duration of seven days from Monday, December 26, 2022, to Sunday, January 1, 2023,” KeNHA said in a statement on Friday.
The diversion, they said, is to enable the completion of remaining works along the section of Mombasa Road during this festive season.
They said that motorists will be guided by traffic signage along the road to show them which way to go.
“We advise motorists on Mombasa road to adhere to the temporary speed limits when approaching the construction zone and passing through the temporary diversion,” they said.
