South African based Ugandan socialite/ entrepreneur Zari Hassan has just revealed that her boyfriend Shakib Lutaaya has already taken her to meet his parents.
Sharing the news during a press conference the mother of 5 said, "Shakib took me to see his parents and it was so nice.
He took me to literally meet his parents and they were so nice, and I don't remember them complaining about the relationship at all.
I do not think we are doing anything wrong and I am not saying this as a part of defending myself."
She also added that she was looking forward to siring kids with Shakib.
"I will give birth to more children, but not because of public pressure," Zari added.
The news come in shortly after Shakib made it public that he was more than willing to make an honest woman out of Zari.
About 3 weeks ago Shakib posted a video on his IG in which he informs Zari his intentions to meet her dad and ask for her hand in marriage.
Zari also posted a video speaking on the same.
In the video she highlighted that her boyfriend had told her that he was ready to meet her dad.
"Shakib told me yesterday that he wants to meet my dad. He said he wants to ask for my hand in marriage," the 42-year-old reality TV star revealed.
Zari has faced a lot of criticism for dating Shakib mostly because of their 11-year-old age difference and the fact that Shakib is not as wealthy as her previous boyfriends.
When Zari started dating Shakib, she was slammed for dating a man close to her son's age.
Shakib has been living and working in Gauteng, South Africa for almost 10 years now – although he was born and raised in Kampala.
Zari was first spotted in public with her new boyfriend in early June. She had a huge surprise for her fans after she arrived at the party on the arm of the mysterious new man.
The couple coordinated in white outfits.
