Media personality Zubeida Kananu has laid to rest her late mum.
Mary Halima has been buried in Meru County where the media personality hails from.
Sharing photos from the burial ceremony, Zubeida thanked Kenyans for their tributes
"On behalf of my family, I thank each one of you for standing with us during this difficult time. The pain we are in is so much to bear, but you’ve been our pillar of strength"
Zubeida did nto reveal what happened to her late mum.
" It has been a tough journey but we are strong willed because of the generosity, patience, love and support you have offered. We may not be able to thank each one of you personally but we pray that God gives you back ten fold all that you have invested in us. God bless you and you families. Much love."
In the tribute on the burial day, the family noted that Mary Halima had fought a good fight. They shared a a bible verse 2 Tim 4:7.
It further added "Forever in pour hearts"
Mary Halima Raibuni was 60 years old.
Zubeida also shared photos of family and friends joining them in the funeral service.
The KTN presenter updated her fans recently that her late mum Mary Halima passed on.
"It is well" she captioned a beautiful picture of her mother.
