• Kenya's best rapper had something to say about Wizkid's statement.

• Knowing the way the O.G normally behaves, you can expect a hit song from him.

Recently, during an interview with 10 Magazine, Nigerian star Wizkid said Nigerian Hip Hop was dead.

“If I’m being honest, I don’t listen to any other genre of music anymore. I don’t listen to rap – that sh*t is boring to me. It’s dead now, it’s tired. These guys do the same sh*t, rap on the same beats and the same flows,” he was quoted as saying.

His opinion stirred mixed reactions from fellow Nigerians, especially rappers. Wizkid later took to Snapchat to call them broke boys, saying he only recognized three rappers in Africa.

"Can't believe y'all broke boys really thought Big Wiz will talk about y'all. Wow. Y'all are not even rappers.  Nasty C, Sarkodie, Black Sheriff the only rappers in Africa."

Ouch! Wapi Khaligraph?

He went on to write; "48 hours still no rap song? lol"

Khaligraph Jones has now responded to Wizkid saying people should watch out for him. Writing on his Instagram stories, the muscled rapper wrote;

"Make African rap great again. Hip Hop is alive, let me show y'all."

To show that he wast playing around, the father of 3 even made sure to attach Wizkid's own song Call Me Every Day as the background music.

Let's see how this goes. But if I was a betting man I would wager that the O.G will come out with a fire song and Wiz might most likely be in the crosshairs.

But what do I know?
