Kenyan actor Brian Kabugi popularly known as 'Tito' from his role in an approved Kenyan feature drama 'Salem' has cited the reason why he keeps off social media.

The veteran actor explained why his intense roles make him get off social media.

To him, some characters are very delicate and mental and to be in his right mind, he chooses to keep off social media.

He identified himself to be an extrovert but certain characters require him to be an introvert something that makes him regulate his interaction with colleagues and comrades.

He stressed that Buggi is not Tito and the other way around.

He stated;

"Bugi is not Tito and Tito is not Bugi, there are different characters I have played in my life but there are some characters that Tito has borrowed from Buggi but I can't say Tito is Buggi."

He continued;

"Every actor has their way, there are people who travel, go off social media and get back and recharge ad there are people who socialize more. I'm an extrovert and my character is an introvert, when I was playing that role, I blocked a lot of people. So when I'm off that character, ill go back to being Kabugi the extrovert, so ill go out more, part more, and connect with friends and family. I have done roles that are so intense that make me get off social media for quite a while because everything is mental."

The actor said that he likes using Brian Kabugi when he's on stage, unlike other names that people refer him to.

He accredited his mother a lat saying how the mother supported him all through despite getting backlash from his relatives.

"My mom supported me even if the extended family questioned her why he was allowing me to act," noted Brian.

Bugi has been acting since the age of 11 and has now been nominated for a Kalasha award under the biggest Kenyan telenovela, Salem.
