First daughter Charlene Ruto has been in the spotlight with Kenyans questioning her role in the Hustler Government.

Kenyans on Twitter have raised concerns as to why she has been visiting different county assemblies, having meetings with governors, and running different initiatives at the same time.

Netizens have since compared her to former US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump.

When her father was elected into office, Ivanka accompanied him as an unofficial adviser.

Trump later appointed Ivanka to an official government role.

Charlene on Monday, November 28 reacted to criticism.

She wrote

"Fresh and easy does it? We move regardless. Where are we popping up next? #Onward #AchievingThePlan"

The comment was followed by a video of shopping in a local supermarket.

On November 10, Charlene, through her official Twitter account said she had met Morocco's youth minister, Mohammed Mehdi, for a "conversation and exchange of ideas that will go a long way in shaping youth development projects for both nations."

Charlene has also had a plenary session with Bomet county MCAs.

Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai applauded her for what she is doing adding that is a great way to get into politics.

"Great way to get a perspective of the country Charlene Ruto. A much better way to get into politics. I support," he said.

The BBC has told that it reached out to the Presidents office for comment, but they have not responded.
