Nigerian artist Davido and his fiancée Chioma reportedly lost their 3-year-old son, David Adedeji Adeleke Junior on Monday evening.

According to Nigerian media outlets, the superstar's son drowned in a swimming pool while in the care of his minders.

Celebrities and friends around the globe sent condolence messages to the couple with many praying for their peace.

Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai warned people against posting too much about their lives saying we live in a world full of jealous people around us.

Anerlisa prayed that God would bless the couple with more children.

"In a world full of jealousy and accidents, we have to be extra careful with people around us. I pray for them to heal and find peace and also mil pray that God blesses them with twins," she wrote. 

Davido's only son celebrated his 3rd birthday about a week ago.

He drowned on Monday, October 31, 2022, inside the family’s swimming pool in Banana Island, Lagos. 

The young boy was rushed to the hospital but was announced dead at the Lagoon Hospital in Ikoyi upon arrival.

The "Assurance" hitmaker and his long-term girlfriend Chioma had traveled to Ibadan for a family gathering and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he got into the pool unnoticed for such a long while and eventually drowned.

While celebrating his son's birthday, Davido penned a heartwarming message for the little boy.

He wrote; "I pray with all my heart that God grants you perfect health and pure happiness for as long as humanly possible. You will grow to be greater than Me, Happy birthday, son."

Davido has two other kids (two girls) with two different baby mamas.

He is yet to speak about the sad news.
