Gender reveal parties are one of the most socially acceptable ways to encourage a gender binary.

Some might be asking what is gender binary, well, it is the cultural belief that there are only two categories of gender that are female and male.

The blue attire represents a boy while the pink attire indicates one is expecting a girl. The tradition of pink for a girl and blue for a boy seems to have become baked into culture during the latter half of the twentieth century.

This culture is mostly among celebrities and classy luxury individuals. It's a tradition that someone can do with or without.
