Diamond Platnumz's sister Esma Platnumz is being castigated by her ex-husband Msizwa over claims that she is the one to blame for their failed marriage.
The South Africa-based Tanzanian businessman recently opened up about their past relationship - revealing little known details about the affair.
Speaking during the launch of his new hotel in Dar es Salaam, Msizwa faulted Esma for their failed marriage.
He also said that Esma was the one who approached him before they started a romantic relationship.
"I will tell you guys something I have never said anywhere. It’s Esma who hit on me and not the other way around. I have never seduced her, she is the one who seduced me," he said.
Esma was married as a third wife to the tycoon.
He said that when she approached him, she was very straightforward with what she wanted - marriage.
"She said she wanted me to marry her so that she could attain that societal image and respect of being someone’s wife," he stated.
Esma separated from her husband Mziswa three months after their lavish wedding in 2020.
She is said to be in a serious relationship and looking forward to getting married soon.
A few months ago, rumours had it that Esma is dating Diamond's friend, comedian Coy Mzungu after her failed marriage with Msizwa.
This was after a viral video showing Esma and Mzungu sharing a glass of juice as Esma was lying on Mzungu's thighs in his mansion.
Esma told Wasafi TV the video was taken when his girlfriend was in the house.
"Have you ever heard us speak that we are dating? Has he ever told you we are in love? So, what about the viral videos?" she said.
"Those are just normal videos. Just because we were feeding each doesn't mean anything. He and I are not lovers. We have never been in love.
"It is just friendship. We were just having a good time and fooling social media people. When we were doing that, he was with his girlfriend."
