The creative mind behind Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's nickname 'Riggy G,' Ivy Chelimo, has expressed her heartfelt message to the D.P after he offered her a job.
Ivy thanked Gachagua for the opportunity and the strategies he had set up to see the Kenyan youth win.
"Thank you so much for the opportunity you gave me to grow my wings, thank you for the initiatives you have put in place for the youth, and we pray that at the end of the five years your manifesto regarding the youth and the youth agenda would have come to fruition."
Speaking to Vincent Mboya, Ivy got into the details of how her new job came to life.
She noted that the D.P asked her what she wanted, and as a university graduate, she said a job.
"He asked me what I wanted and whether I would be interested to join the communication team.
I think I needed a job, because at the end of the day when I have just finished Uni and I need something to pay the bills and I said Yes sir!"
The internet sensation disclosed that meeting 'Riggy G' happened after his sons reached out to her and planned a meeting.
"It started when he said he wanted his sons to look for me, and then his sons reached out, planned a meeting then (yesterday) I went to meet him, and we had a conversation."
Come 2027, Ivy stated that she might be on the ballot as a member of parliament or a senator.
"I would go for an MP or a senator, but I am not sure, it is subject to confirmation in 2027."
