Media Personality Willis Raburu has shared his journey in the media industry - reminiscing on the days he was an intern.

The Citizen TV Presenter shared his throwback Thursday (TBT) picture recalling vividly a day he was covering an event.

He clearly states that it was that feature story that got him hired even after being hesitant to cover that particular occasion because he was an intern.

He also mentioned that at his workplace interns were not allowed to travel out of Nairobi.

The 10 over 10 host, went on to mention colleagues who helped his journey in the media industry; Mohammed Mahmudm, Shitera, Opondo Peter, and Karoney Farida.

True friends are the ones who make you win, just as Raburus says, it was his friends who believed in him back in 2010

He stated;

"Tbt to story that got me hired It was Mohammed mahmudm and Sshitera one who insisted we do this Piece To Camera here and and I obliged I was an intern then and we weren’t “allowed to travel out of Nairobi for features but Opondo Peter and Karoney Farida believed in me and “Rite of Passage” a two part feature was born! The Year was 2010!"

One of his fan congratulated him saying he hopes to see him on CNN one day. It seems Raburu has loyal and good fans who are always wishing him well.
