Willis Raburu is celebrating his dad's birthday today with the father of two sharing an emotional video clip of his dad while wishing him a happy birthday.

Raburu's dad is celebrating his 72nd birthday today with the television presenter describing his dad Peter Otieno Raburu as a man of infinite wisdom, courage and strength.

"Happy birthday to the man! Man of Infinite wisdom, courage, strength, poise, dedication, integrity, love for God, humility and grace! A leader, my hero. Peter Otieno Raburu! Love you dad! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

A few days ago, the media personality shared a video clip showing his beloved father's reaction upon learning that his family had organised a surprise vacation for his birthday behind his back.

Raburu and his siblings took their father to Malindi without telling him about the vacation.

The Citizen TV anchor's dad was astonished after they finally told him they were in Malindi to celebrate his birthday.

Raburu captioned the video; "Pulled off a major surprise for paps."

Before adding,

"The birthday boy has arrived for soft life."

When his father celebrated his 70th birthday two years ago, Raburu praised him for instilling in him values that he said molded him to become the celebrated personality he is today.

Raburu explained that he was honoured and noted that he values their father and son relationship over the years.

"This man has taught me so much and is truly an example.Words fail me, father, mentor, wisdom for days and lately close friend and confidant. I love you dad! Jakochieng, I’m honoured to carry your DNA and well... your face and name," Raburu captioned the photo.
