Legendary comedian Eddie Murphy will pay sh4.2 million a month to his ex baby mama as child support.

The money is for upkeep for their 15 year old daughter with singer Mel B.

The former couple reached the agreement Friday years after Mel B applied for modification of the amount he pays.

Mel B is a former singer with the girl group Spice Girls. The child support has now increased from 25,000 to 35,000 dollars because his earnings have increased.

The 'Norbit' actor was termed as an extraordinarily high earner in the lawsuit.

The Spice Girl, full name Melanie Brown, filed court papers requesting additional financial assistance in October 2020, citing a change in income

Murphy, 61, had been paying the British-born singer, real name Melanie Brown, $25,000 a month - $300,00 a year - since the exes settled their bitter paternity battle in February 2009.

Court documents state that "Commencing October 1, 2021, as and for child support for the benefit of Angel, Respondent shall pay to Petitioner the sum of $35,000 per month."

"Child support shall be payable via wire transfer, and shall be due on the first calendar day of each month.:

Brown first filed papers asking for more child support in October 2020, claiming her income had decreased dramatically.

'Until recently, Melanie has been fortunate in her career to sustain a comfortable lifestyle for herself and Angel,' the filing stated.

Eddie Murphy has ten child with different baby mama's. Eddie sparked a bitter child support case after refusing to support his daughter with her.

Mel B tried to get him to provide support without resorting to the courts, but her attempts failed.

She then decided that the court must intervene. The bitter paternity battle dominated social media as their fans dug in about the former couple.
