Kenyan artist Patrick Gichuku Mwangi better known as Patonee is critically ill.
According to his friends in the industry, Patonee has been admitted to the ICU at Avenue Hospital.
Patonee is famous for his all-time hit song 'Talk To You, featuring Big Pin and Amani.
Rapper Big Pin made a medical appeal to his online fans asking fans to help him raise medical funds.
Big Pin said Patonee has been hospitalized and is in critical condition in ICU since October 1.
His medical bill has been growing at a rate of Sh200,000 per day making it hard for his family.
Big Pin shared a poster that read;
"Patrick Gichuki Mwangi, ‘Patonee’ is critically ill and is hospitalized in the ICU ward, as of October 1. His hospital care is expensive and has been growing at a rate of Sh200,000 per day.
There are plans to hold a physical fund-raising event at a later date to be communicated.
However, given the growing bills, the family is requesting your assistance to support with any advance contribution, towards offsetting our bill."
