Kenyan heavyweight artists are set to thrill fans in different parts of the country at the Oktobafest that will be going down next month.
Khaligraph Jones, Mejja, and Nadia Mukami are among the artists that will grace the event accompanied by upcoming stars dubbed Nexsters.
This ultimate beer festival is scheduled to take place in Eldoret, Mwea, and the final event at the Ngong Racecourse, Nairobi, offering revelers across these regions a chance to celebrate Kenyan authenticity, by bringing to life Kenyan culture through beer, entertainment, food, and music.
These events will also have live entertainment stages, gaming centers, and sports contests.
“Through the event, we will be seeking to celebrate our great Kenyan vibe and twist by promoting our local artists, DJs, and MCs," said Anne-Joy Michira, Marketing & Innovation Director
This year’s edition will be slightly different from the 2021 edition which was dubbed a Festival Deconstructed due to the new normal conditions brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions that limited the number of people that could gather in one place. Oktobafest engaged in over 100 bars, restaurants and activations countrywide as it sought to take the festival to the people.
Seven up-and-coming musicians that will be performing are meant to identify and reward the next generation of musical talent.
