Months after their breakup was announced, socialite Corazon Kwamboka has acknowledged that her baby daddy Frankie Kiarie is a supportive dad.

While speaking to Mungai Eve, Corazon said they are still very good friends and they talk about life although they are no longer lovers.

"We are co-parenting and we are also very good friends. When I need help, I call him and we talk about our lives and challenges we are going through," she said.

"We were friends even before we got babies. I think I have learnt that communication is important when co-parenting because it is all about the kids. You have to let what made you break up go and be in a position you can communicate."

Corazon said she love being a mum and her son made her even want to get more kids.

"The moment I held my first child, I knew I wanted more kids.

Motherhood has changed me in so many ways. I appreciate life in a different way. It also made me more ambitious and now I want to work even harder for their future. I am more patient. I didn't automatically fall in love with motherhood but I bonded so much with my son as I got to understand what they love."

She said the first few months, it was a bit challenging and she suffered from post-partum depression.

"I wasn't bonding with the baby and I got to a point where I started freaking out with our baby. At some point I sneaked out in the middle of the night without knowing where I was going," she said.

"I talked to my mum and Frankie's mum and when I went back home I realized it was depression so I started dealing with it with the help of the two mums.

I didn't see a doctor but I had good support from Frankie, his mum, my brother and my mum."

Corazon said raising her second child was easier until she broke up with her baby daddy.

"The second born was easier at first but after the break-up happened it was another challenge but right now am in a perfect position. I have two nannies. When we were together it was easy as we could help each other," she said.

"All of a sudden I was alone. Emotionally I am in a better place and I am used to being alone. I have adjusted. I was a bit confused and I wasn't in a good mental state but now I am more stable. My brother is also around and I am getting used to it."
