Akothee praises daughters for being hardworking and grounded

• Akothee spoke highly of her daughters and encouraged them to aim even higher. The singer has five children.

Singer-cum-author Akothee launched a book and an album this past weekend.

On Saturday, June 4, Akothee hosted family and friends to celebrate her achievements.

The grand party went down at the prestigious Eka hotel.

Her daughters Rue and Vesh organized the party and ensured all went smoothly.

In videos shared on their social media, we see Vesha fussing and making sure the decor, food and schedule for the event are perfect and seamless.

Akothee has taken note of their hard work and praised them individually in sweet notes.

Akothee then praised Rue baby, her second child,

Incidentally, Akothee's mother also praised her during the book launch.

Yunita Kokeyo, Akothee's mother, has told that Akothee's musical gift is an inheritance from her father during the singer's book launch party.

"I want to tell you that Esther has inherited music from the father. The father is a musician and a proper musician who went to school with the music. So, when I see Esther in the music industry, I can confidently say she has taken it from the father," she said.

"Thank you very much my daughter. Just have courage and don't be emotional all the time. Esther you are doing wonders. You are teaching women and even men. There are some people who do not know what they are doing in this world. You must be an example to them. Esther is doing so many things that make me happy and proud," she added.
