Zari Hassan was in Tanzania over the weekend. The businesswoman arrived in Dar Es Salaam and then flew to Mwanza for a charity event.
Well, fans have come after her for not visiting Mama Dangote, Diamond Platnumz's mother. Speaking on Instagram, Zari said she saw Mama Dangote but never posted on social media.
"Nisipoenda Madale ama Mbezi watu wanasema oh hawamtaki hajaonana naye, Nikienda mnasema oh Zari anapenda kuji-super glue kwa hiyo familia. Nikienda na nisipoenda mnaongea, sasa mtu afanye nini?"
(If I don't go to Madale or Mbezi, people complain that I haven't seen her (Mama Dangote) If I go people say I am glueing myself to that family. What do you want? I go or not, you talk. What should I do?)
Zari added that she told Mama Dangote that she came for business when they met.
"Why are you feeling the pain when Zari doesn't see Mama Dangote? Why? How does that profit you? Do you want us to take a photo and put it on Instagram? Some of us don't like Instagram live. We don't."
She went back to South Africa, where she is based saying she was tired as she went straight to work.
"I just want to get some things off my chest because some people think that when you respond it comes out as insecure. It is the narrative that people think they know how I should live my life, how people think they own me. But guys everybody is living their lives, you don't know why I live my life that way."
While at a club in Tanzania, she was seen grinding on a younger unidentified man whom people have called her new lover. Zari said;
"People don't get into relationships for them to end. They get into relationships hoping they will work out. But along the way, things don't work out. I'm not the kind of person who will get scared that people will say that I move on so fast."
She went on to call out people who've asked her to stay at home as she is a mother;
"Which one of my kids needs to be breastfed? I am fully involved in my children's lives. I take care of my kids more than some of you do. I am a single mother tryna raise my kids on my own"
Zari said she was not giving up on love admitting she is fast to move on.
"I am not going to settle for less. I should not stick there because of social media pressure. I move on quickly. I don't have these emotions for crying and healing. For who? For a man?"
She concluded by telling her fans that she will not be part of the depression statistics.
