Creating fake beef with your family
This is done slowly by making you and your sibling always be at war.
She will complain about how your brother hit on her, how your mother hates her for wearing long dresses and how your sister hates her because she is beautiful.
She will do so constantly until you start believing it even when it is a lie. She will even tell you she sees no need in coming to visit your family if all she gets is hate.
This does not mean there are no women who are hated by their in-laws, there are. But some lie about it.
Badmouthing
Badmouthing means talking ill about someone to other people.
To make you look bad a woman will expose your 'secrets' to the public.
Such actions can lead to bad blood between people hence indirectly leading to alienation.
Most families do not see eye to eye because of such misinformation.
Kamuti
Kamuti means witchcraft in Kamba dialect.
Some women visit witch doctors who give them concoctions to control their men.
In some instances, it works while in some it doesn't.
