The Tanzania music award was held at the Julius Kambarage Nyerere International convection center on the 2nd of April.

Bongo singer Alikiba managed to scoop several awards.

Below is a list of the winners of the 2021 Tanzania music award.

   1. Alikiba 

He won the best artist people's choice, best east African artist, Best Album, Best melody composer, and Video of the year awards.

    2. Harmonize

Best male entertainer, best male artist, and best African collabo.

On his Instagram account, he wrote "Tanzania music awards is back to back. Best of all best, thank you."

    3. Nandy 

Just like Harmonize Nandi the African princess also gained three awards. Best female artist, Peoples' choice artist, and video of the year.

    4. Marioo 

Best male bongo Flava artist of the year, best bongo Flava song ( beer tam).

    5. Baddest 47

Baddest 47b gained dancehall artist of the year and dancehall song of the year "unaota"

     6.  Mzee Yusuf  

He gained an award for the Taarab song of the year, and the artist of the year (taarab) 

     7. Sholo Mwamba

Sholo Mwamba acquired two awards, Singer tune of the year ( alowee) and best male Singeli artist

     8. Young Luhya,

Young Luhya was awarded best hip hop class and Hip hop male artist of the 12 months.
