Content creator Christine Lwanga says it was weird to be proposed to by her husband Daddie Marto just after 12 days.

Speaking through their YouTube channel, Marto says he wanted to define their relationship from the start due to the character development he had been given.

"I asked you to be my girlfriend because I wanted the relationship to have a mark on where it began. It's important to define things from the word go." shared Marto

Lwaka says, "Alinipeleka mbio, it felt like a marathon. I asked my friend and she told me to trust my instinct."

Marto says he was in the past married but the union ended, due to undisclosed reasons.

"In 2016 I was in a relationship. We had done the traditional wedding but no white wedding, we had no child. So when it ended iliisha tuu."

Adding, "After my break up is when I realized that I was in a very toxic relationship.

I was trying to change myself to fit in with what that girl thought of her man. I was trying to be her man instead of being my own man."

The actor says before he met his wife Koku, he was eyeing a lady who he thought would agree to date him to no avail.

"There was a lady I was eyeing, we had been friends but she told me she would think about it. When I started dating my wife she started sending me DM's saying she made a big mistake by refusing to date me."

Marto says he wanted to be open about what he wanted in a relationship, due to the lessons he had learned from his failed relationships.
