Model Roshanara Ebrahim recently spoke about one of the toughest periods in her life, when her private photos were leaked by her ex-boyfriend.

Roshanara told TUKO that she had since forgiven her ex-boyfriend for all the pain he caused her.

"I forgave him. We speak once in a while and I wish the best for him. Forgiveness is very important lesson to learn in life because it's not the other person but you letting go of that baggage and allowing yourself to be free and your heart open," she said.

During the interview, the current Miss Universe Kenya 2021, recounted her terrible dethronement as Miss World Kenya 2016 after her photos were leaked to her Franchise Director.

Roshanara said she was depressed, and it wasn't easy battling depression. It took her time to get back on her feet.

She recounted the incident saying, "I was in a relationship but it wasn't working. He sent out my private photos to my franchise director at the moment. I was called to the office and told it's done. You have been dethroned."

The pretty light-skinned lady confessed that the news had devasted her and tried begging to have the director reconsider her decision, but her pleas would be unsuccessful as the press had already been informed;

"...there was a lot of tears, feelings of rejection, abandonment and it was really painful because this is everything I wanted. I had worked so hard to achieve. Another part that was really painful was, this is a lady I called mom and she was the only person who had these photos so I told her 'mom protect me he is trying to destroy me. Have my back...'"
