Gospel singer Daddy Owen has shared how his 2021 started with a low moment and ended up victorious.

On his social media, Daddy Owen recalled how the beginning of the year was tough, leaving him depressed.

"What a year I had, everyone knows how tough my beginning of the year had been! But GOD turned my year around!!" Daddy Owen shared.

After months of suffering from mental illness, the singer came out strong and even released an album.

"My personal life took a huge turn of success and different milestones witnessed by all from recording & launching of my 6th Album to one the biggest event in Kenya when I hosted Daddy Owen Festival in Eldoret with 10,000 strong fans!! Building a Children's home, building a new ward for a children's hospital, and hosting Malaika Tribute Awards," Daddy Owen said as he mentioned some of his achievements.

He further advised fans to leave their hurts and disappointments of 2021 behind, giving an example of how he avoided bad-mouthing someone who wronged him last year.

He shared,

"I had a chance to talk bad about someone. I didn't !! Had a chance to revenge. I didn't!! Had a chance to open up and say exactly what happened. I didn't!! I forgave the ones who wronged me n I moved on.

The Bible says.. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord."
