Gospel singer Joyce Omondi is back on her social media, three months after she took a break.
Joyce has been away mourning the death of her dad and she says it has not been easy.
In a gratitude post on her Instagram, Joyce says she is grateful for God’s hand that holds on to her and refuses to let go.
Joyce announced the passing on of her dad in June.
In a post, she said her dad's demise had left a hole in her heart that only God could fill.
She added that the legacy of who her daddy was is almost larger than life. ⠀
''I’m grateful for how His love seeks out for me and pulls me out from the thick darkness that is grief. I’m grateful for how His grace patiently waits for me.
I’m grateful that His light illuminates his continuous goodness and faithfulness in my life and the many reasons to keep trusting Him.
I’m grateful for His strength that has brought me this far, because I know I would never be able to get here on my own. I’m grateful that there is an eternal hope I can cling to, and that that is where my Daddy is.
I’m grateful that He doesn’t allow pain without purpose and that through it all - then, now and always - He will be glorified.
