Jacque Maribe has revealed the reason she did not expose Eric Omondi as a 'deadbeat dad' before.

The mother of one says she did that to protect her son adding she is tired of people assuming Eric is a present dad when he is not.

Speaking during an interview with Eve Mungai Eric questioned Maribe on why she had in past interviews termed him as a good and responsible dad.

"How many interviews have you gone to and said I am a present and responsible dad? Why say I am a dead beat now?' Questioned Eric

Maribe responded saying she was protecting her son.

"I did that because I was protecting you and our son. People feel like Eric and I are at war but we are not.

I am so tired of everyone treating him like he is a good co-parent and he does nothing. Tell him to show you.

Your son was even crying on his birthday after you promised to attend. We have been talking about this for so long and then he is on social media acting like he is a different person. I know you better, just raise your son."Responded Maribe
