Gospel singer and actor Abel Amunga, has explained his relationship with the late singer Angela Chibalonza.
Abel said he met Chibalonza when she came to look for her idol, veteran gospel artiste Mary Atieno who is famous for her Adamu Na Eva song.
In an interview with Buzz Central, the renowned actor said he worked with Chibalonza until her demise.
"I have worked with the late Chibalonza. She was really humble and the reason why she started working with me is that she realised I was working with Mary Atieno. She came to Kenya specifically to look for Mary who was her idol," he narrated.
Amunga explained their first meeting saying he asked her to sing when she explained to him that she hoped to record songs one day.
All the songs she sang were Mary's loved songs, and he then latter told her that he had been training her.
"I told her, 'Do you know I am the one training Mary?' and that's how we became tight friends. I was her music confidant and I was part of every song she recorded I looked for her background singers and producers for her until she passed away."
