Singer Mejja's new song has been pulled down from YouTube.

The Lyric video of the 'Maisha Tiki' song had garnered more than 100,000 views on YouTube two days after it was uploaded.

Mejja took to his social media to express his disappointment after the blow.

"Lyric Video Gone!!!! NiKo Bila Words Uwezi Jinufaisha na Jasho ya mtu, YaaNi Ni opposite Kwangu Mzing Siwachi Kuzidi!!!! God above everything," Mejja wrote.

Two days before the song was deleted, Mejja shared an email from YouTube, saying there was a copyright claim on parts of the song.

He said that he will work on salvaging the song but is prepared for the worst.

"Nishazoea!!!! Anyway Working On It Ikibaki Poa Ikienda Pia Ni Poa Mungu Yuko," he wrote.

The blow comes months after his hit song 'Tabia za Wakenya was struck over a copyright claim.
