What does, "You're not my type", really mean?

Nana Owiti recently surprised many Kenyans when she said that her rapper husband, King Kaka hadn't been her type initially.

Speaking during Chatspot on Switch TV, the mother of two said;

"Nishawahi kula fare but sijawahi kula fare hata ya King Kaka. It's so weird, I was like huyu hakuna mahali tunapelekana he was not my type. But look at me now."

While the couple might have a beautiful marriage at the moment. Her statement about not being her type should be investigated.

In my dealings with the opposite sex, that statement usually implies that the woman isn't initially attracted to the man. By that I mean that woman isn't turned on physically by the man's looks.

The same way the term can normally be interchanged with, "We had no chemistry". They all mean the same thing-That the woman isn't physically drawn to you.

At the end of the day, wives and girlfriends who say, "He wasn't my type" have seen other qualities in their man that made them fall for them.

So the question becomes? Should a man in King Kaka's shoes be offended?

For one thing, Nana has been the consummate wife for the musician since they got married and hasn't put a foot wrong. So it can and does work.

In my case, I would want my woman to be physically into me from the outset. But that's just me. Maybe it's my ego.
