Truth be told Maina Kageni is a force to reckon with, his laughter o air when he commands our attention is not only deep but also infectious.

But unlike most of us, there are things he has never done, thanks to his well to do background.

Below are some of the things he has never done

Using a pit latrine

You read that right, Maina has never used a pit latrine.

I know you might be frowning but not everyone lives from hand to mouth and we cannot blame them for that.

Applying for a job by sending a cv

During a past Morning show, Maina revealed he has never shared or written a CV seeking a job

'I have never written a CV nor have I ever looked for a job. I have never even made a CV, sinaga CV.

I am grateful to God every day."

Being monolized/hazed

Maina went to  Laiser Hill Academy, and while there he never experienced monolization/hazing unlike most Kenyans who went to public schools.

"I was never monolized. This monolization is what made akina King'ang'i be what they are today crazy, bitter men.

Mwalimu was told to fill an empty bucket with darkness. If I was monolized I would have died, how did you survive it?" Posed Maina during a Morning show.

Never spent a night in ushago/reserve home

In 2017 Maina revealed that he never spends a night in ushago, although he visits, Maina said he comes back to Kanairo on the same day.

Maina was speaking on air about investing in homes in the countryside. He said he couldn’t understand why residents of Nairobi build their homes in the village.

“Why is it important to build in mashambani, and why are you wasting money building there and do you honestly intend to go back and live in mashambani when you retire?” posed Maina Kageni.

I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve never spent the night in gichagi.”

He went on to reveal that even when he was young, they would go to “ushago and go back to Nairobi the same day”.

I also doubt whether he has ever riden in a matatu.

Na before ulete makasiriko hapa, go make money so your kids don't have to suffer.
