Tanzanian singer Ommy Dimpoz has expressed his gratitude to the legendary Alikiba.
During the launch of Alikiba's album on Wednesday, Ommy Dimpoz described him as his mentor in the music industry.
Ommy Dimpoz said he holds high respect for Alikiba for helping him build his music career.
For this reason, Ommy Dimpoz said he can even forgive Alikiba if he ever finds him sleeping with his wife.
The musician cracked the joke during the launch of Alikiba's album at the Serena Hotel in Dar es Salam.
The newly launched album dubbed 'Only one king', comprises of one song by Alikiba featuring Ommy Dimpoz. The song is called 'Gimme Dat'.
While announcing the details of his upcoming Album, Alikiba said it will feature big names in Africa.
“This album will be a Pan-African album that will feature names like Khaligraph Jones, Patoranking, Sauti Sol, Sarkodie, Blaq Diamond just to name a few.
I am so excited about this project and I am thankful to my fans for being patient. 10 years are quite a lot since I released my last album and this album is dedicated to my day one fan.
