Comedian Terence Creative has narrated the misfortune that happened to him on the day of their traditional wedding.

After saving money for the dowry, Terence was robbed two nights before the traditional wedding.

He had bought presents for Milly's parents and went to withdraw the cash before leaving for her home in Eldoret.

"I took a taxi from town, on reaching Chai Road, 4 men attacked me and stole the money. I remained with the presents," Terence narrated on their YouTube channel.

On the wedding day, Terence's friends and family members contributed some money. They raised Ksh 23,000.

The comedian decided to proceed to the traditional wedding with fear that Milly's parents will refuse his proposal.

On reaching Eldoret, Terence explained what happened but Milly's family challenged him to get more money.

"We were told to go out and add the money, a friend added me 2k we got 25,000," he said.

However, the family did not trust his narrative but gave him the benefit of doubt.

To date, Milly does not believe that Terence was robbed because at the time he was a notorious gambler.

The mother of one has challenged his husband to do a white wedding for her.

But Terence tells her to appreciate the traditional wedding since there are couples who have lived together for years without knowing each other's parents.

"I have paid I have gone for introduction, I have done a traditional wedding, I have signed," he said.

The comedian said that the traditional wedding was a low-budget one, but he did it out of love.

"Whatever I did, I meant it and it was from my heart whether I had a budget or not, it was very successful."

On why he decided to commit to Milly, Terence said;

"There is always what a woman wants, just to seal the relationship. Because I had already made up my mind, I decided to marry her. Our engagement was a week before our traditional wedding."
