With only a month to her due date, socialite Vera Sidika insists that he is not going to give birth naturally.
The mom-to-be has made a decision to undergo an elective Cesarean Section.
Vera says that many people have instilled fear in her about how the C-section wound is painful and takes time to heal.
But Vera believes that it is better to have a C-section scar than to give birth the natural way.
She is opposed to natural birth because she believes that the labour pains might cause her an emotional trauma that will affect her.
"The whole point for me is to avoid labour pain. Because I know how traumatized I will be and I won't ever want another baby. I have enjoyed my whole pregnancy journey, so let me not ruin it," Vera Sidika wrote.
Vera Sidika also dismissed those who term women who have given birth through C-section as lesser mothers.
"Whether emergency or elective CS, you are still everything to your baby and the love you have for them is extraordinary. Let's see how much love my princess gets from her CS mom."
Many women fear that a C-section leaves a permanent scar on their tummies, but Vera is not embarrassed about having the scar.
