Ex Sailors member Shalkido has opened up on how his mum dumped him in a toilet at only two months.

The talented artists say that action caused him pain to date.

Speaking during an interview with Ala C on 'Reke Ciume na Ene' he shared;

" I was born in Ruiru. People call me 'Ga cucu' because It is my grandmother who brought me up. My mum dumped me in a toilet while I was  2 months old.

My parents disagreed and my mum took me and tied me properly and left me with a leso. While my grandmother was out on the farm she heard my wails.

She picked me up and brought me up.

I call her mum. I used to question her why everyone would call her mum and I was to call her grandma, but she never wanted to tell me."

Shalkido added

"I have never seen my mum. She has never looked for me. Whenever I ask my dad he never wants to talk about it.

One day I will look for her.

If she is watching this show the biggest question I would ask is 'what did I ever do to you to leave me through such pain?

Sometimes I thank God for what she did."

His message to his mum?

"I know you are watching, Thanks for what you did I know one day I will meet you one day. I will build her a house because we should not pay evil with evil."
