Jose Chameleone's Ugandan fans have in recent times been comparing him with Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz. The legendary singer reacted to this in a recent interview after Diamond bought a Rolls Royce. 

He revealed that he has two mansions in the US in different states.

"I saw someone comparing me to Diamond just because he had bought a brand new Rolls Royce but I want you to know that I have so far bought two houses in the USA. If my brother wanted to buy a Rolls-Royce, let him do so, it’s not a bad thing. Everyone has their own ambitions. Go and research about the prices of houses in USA, they range from USD400k but the Rolls-Royce is worth USD350k. If it’s what I wanted, I would have bought it."

Chameleone bought his first property in the American state of Minnesota in 2019. His wife and kids currently live there.

Media pundits in Uganda report that the singer might have dreams to finally relocate to the US for good. Chameleone who contested for the Kampala Mayoral seat unsuccessfully earlier this year is currently working on an album dubbed 'I am Joseph'
