Most Kenyan entertainers are bad at marketing their content and opt for controversial antics.

With this, they aim at promoting their songs, gaining followers or remaining relevant.

But some of these songs are bangers for only a week or two, then they are not heard of again.

Kenyan Musicians should invest in their projects by getting a good team that deals with marketing.

Sauti sol and Sol generation are quite captivating I might say.

Maybe some artists can borrow tips from the group, which has been in the game for a long time without much drama.

Some of the most notorious clout chasers in Kenya are:

Ringtone Apoko

The self-proclaimed wealthiest gospel musician in East Africa is not new to the clout chasing game.

Recently, the singer got into an altercation with blogger Robert Alai and it was hard for Kenyans to believe anything he said.

Kenyans were quick to notice that the singer wasn't travelling to South Africa for treatment as he had previously posted.

Mtoto wa Diana isn't new to the clout chasing game.

Bahati once faked a break-up with Diana, only to release a song featuring her days later.

They even unfollowed each other on social media.

But, to their surprise, Kenyans are used to their cheap antics.

The teen socialite tried really hard to get noticed.

From nude twerking in late-night shows, getting into Tory lanes live video and getting into Eric Omondi's Wife Material.

The lass pretended to be pregnant but no one bought the story as the baby bump seemed to grow overnight.

She is one for the books.

Amber is known to clout chase.

Her recent relationship with Jimal had the socialite in the limelight.

She and Amira trended when they did a live show from Syokimau parading their fight.

Her previous relationships have clout plastered all over them.
