Tanzanian singer Ben Pol says he had been in a relationship where he was being forced to introduce the woman he had to his family.

Speaking to Wasafi Media the singer explained that he highlighted it in his 'Kisebusebu' song, as part of his personal experience.

"I sang from the point of view of a woman, I was in a relationship that the lady was telling me I didn't introduce her to my parents.

Most times, women want to be introduced, I have been in such a relationship, with those complaints," Ben Pol revealed. 

In another song dubbed 'For You' Ben Pol reminisces about one of his past relationships and wishes to go back to the woman, he noted that it was with a woman he dated way back before fame and money.

'Things didn't work out, this is a song to tell her that I'm a better person now and that she shaped me."

Ben Pol had been married to Kenyan businesswoman Anerlisa Muigai for months and later filed for a divorce on grounds of irreconcilable differences.
