Bahati recounts the day he met his adopted son Morgan

• Morgan was two years then and Bahati had visited the children's home for a thanksgiving show only for the two-year-old Morgan to say he wanted to go with him.

Singer Bahati has recounted the first time he saw his firstborn son, Morgan.

He adopted him from a children's home in Mathare.

Taking to his Instagram page, the father of four narrated how worried he was when he knew he was going to take care of Morgan despite him not having enough money.

Morgan was two years then and Bahati had visited the children's home for a thanksgiving show only for the two-year-old Morgan to say he wanted to go with him.

Bahati explained how proud he was that the young Morgan can now speak better English than he does.

''I was watching this Video and I found Myself Shading tears; I get a bit Emotional when My thoughts go back to this Very Day. Those Who don't know this is the day God brought to Me this Angel @Morgan_Bahati.

I was Just Starting in My Music Career; Few Years Since I had left ABC Childrens in Mathare & this Was My First Concert Ever! After the show, the 2-Year-old Morgan Cried to go home with me and he did not want to go back to the Orphanage where he Lived after the Demise of the Parents; this was tough for me Juu I Understood what he Meant and Even Tougher considering I was still struggling Financially to afford to raise a child.''

He added;

''The big Complication was I lived in a Small room & and I was not qualified to adopt (I had no one to take Care of the Baby) I Remember When I had to teach myself how to cook; I remember when I had to go with you on all shows before We Could get a Committed House Help.
