Youtuber Elodie has come out to explain why her second statement on being in an abusive relationship with Sol Generation's Nviiri was misconstrued by the public.
In a lengthy statement - the third one after she announced Nvirii was emotionally and physically violent to her - Elodie says, "Apologies, NOT for the truth I spoke, but for the fact that I went public and it was misinterpreted by a nation I call home."
She added, "I made my second post because 'going public' under the influence of "a few drinks" was wrong.
I should have done it in a sober mindset because it's something real to me and us as women and men.
I don't know what media site made it seem like I lied about anything but that's far from the truth. That second post was taken so far out of context I'm also confused."
Her statement that was posted on her Instagram stories continued, "It breaks my heart that no one (especially my fellow Queens) couldn't see through my second post.
It's not about "blaming the man" or "she/he lied." It's important to learn the truth- which in this past week I've noticed can't always come from "credible" bloggers/media houses because you've known such names for generations...my name has been trashed all in the name of temporary comments and views I thank my supporters cause y'all had it on point and your DMs proved it. As for everyone else - peace &love."
Elodie now says she is moving on with her life and putting all this behind her.
"My focus is spiritual, unconditional love and self-development. Such will make sense if you go through my work.
After Monday, I'll continue to move forward with my God, Family, and online supporters only. Stay blessed."
