Sauti Sol's lead vocalist and songwriter extraordinaire Bien Aime Barasa in Tanzania for some music bizniz.

Bien has been meeting up with the who is who in the Tanzanian entertainment fraternity and last night he was with the king of Bongo music.

Simba himself.

Diamond Platnumz.

As is the norm with men, they have to show off their toys and Bien got to see Diamond's jewellery.

Diamond is known for his ostentatious rings, chains and grills that he shows off shamelessly on his social media and music videos.

Well, Bien got to see those up close and personal.

Diamond's manager, Salam SK schooled Bien on how to calculate carats and how much the jewellery pieces cost per carat.

In the video posted by Rayvanny on his Instastories, Salam is seeing weighing the gold chains then calculating the cost.

The total came to a cool USD 16500 (approximately Ksh 1.65m).

The camera then pans to a cash box that had three thick bundles of 100 dollar notes and some silver and gold jewellery, Bien is seen exclaiming that he cannot afford such opulence.

He said, "Mimi actually nimekuja na roho yangu tuu."

As they continue to laugh, Salam asks Diamond, where he gets the cash and he says - off-camera, "I don't know, I just found it in my pocket." as they continue to laugh.

Bien is in Tanzania for a number of projects some of which include writing some music for Wasafi Records artistes.
