DJ Evolve was living a vibrant life before he was shot and incapacitated. He is currently receiving in-home care at his parent's home.

He cannot sit up and due to his paralysis, Evolve is tied to his special hospital bed. However, he is not alone, his pals still visit and he is surrounded by loving family.

His dad, John Orinda, spoke to Massawe Japanni on her Radio show today (February 17, 2021)

Massawe asked if Evolve had a girlfriend before he was shot and where she is.

Orinda explained,

"yes, he had a girlfriend. She lives in her own place but she comes to see him and goes."

He added,

"She helps in his care at home too."

Asked if DJ Evolve lost friends, Orinda explains,

"His friends always visit and they come and go daily."

Orinda explained why he thanked Babu Owino and that lead to him trending for days.

"Pray for my son to get better. I was criticised for thanking Babu Owino, but what he did saved my son. taking him to the hospital in good time, that is where I said thank you, because if my son died I don't know how my life would be. and I'm still saying thank you. But All in all, I thank God my son is still alive."
