Reports just in indicate that medical practitioners at Pumwani have gone on strike. This is according to patients at Pumwani maternity hospital who allege the staff at the institution are on strike over the saga surrounding the death of twins.

The patients say the personnel have abandoned them in wards and many of them are suffering. The personnel are protesting accusations that they were behind the death of the twins after they were born there. The patients are pleading for help from authorities to address the situation.
