Police are investigating to identify a man whose body was found dumped in a forest in Lari area, Kiambu county.

The body had a nylon paper wrapped on the head but did not have an identification document.

Police who attended the scene said the man had no physical injuries at that time.

Indications are that the man was killed elsewhere and the body dumped there but the motive and those behind it are yet to be known.

The body was moved to the mortuary.

Such discoveries are common in the area which is a dumping site.

Meanwhile, mystery surrounds the identity of a man whose decomposing body was found on a tree in Gatanga area, Murang’a County.

The body was found by locals who alerted police. Police suspect the body had stayed on the rope hanging there for more than three days.

The body parts were falling off and had badly decomposed when it was discovered.

It was moved to the mortuary as investigators work on it to identify it and establish the motive.
