Top christian station Hope FM created a faze among its listeners when it started playing Islamic prayers. Sources claim that the stations frequency has been hijacked but this is subject to further investigations.

At around 11.20 pm hope fm which usually plays worship music late in the night started airing some Islamic chant making listeners to start asking questions to what really happened.

The HOPE FM signal was last night interfered with, by a foreign signal. Normal broadcasting resumed on Wednesday, minutes after 2 AM. The HOPE FM management is taking up the matter with the regulator that is the communications authority of Kenya to correct the anomaly. We also wish to assure our stakeholders, clients and esteemed listeners who flooded the social media platforms with messages of concern that the management is following up on the matter to get to the bottom of it. - Hope FM
