Popular show comedian Paul "Wakimani" Ogutu has broken his silence on Ayeiya's death. The late Ayeiya, his wife, Wakimani, award-winning actor Maina Olwenya and a friend were travelling in the same car when the tragedy occurred. Ayeiya died on the spot while his wife was badly hurt and was taken to the Kenyatta national hospital where she is still undergoing treatment.

Wakimani, who was a very close to Ayeiya, is yet to come to terms with the fact that his friend is no more.

"Those who knew how close we were understand how deep am wounded

AMUTUDE#"

The previous night before the early morning crash, Ayeiya and Wakimani had attended the Churchill Live show at the carnivore restaurant as was always their norm.

"Our first job pamoja!!," Wakimani first posted this accompanied by a photo of him and the late Ayeiya back in the day.

He went ahead to share another post. A photo of Ayeiya and a woman (not clear whether she is a fan of his or his widow)

"This was 10 mins before my bro said goodbye to me...am praying," he captioned.

Wakimani also shared another post thanking Kenyans for the support.

"Thank you all for the encouraging messages that you all have sent us...be very blessed..."

Ayeiya will be laid to rest this Friday at his parents home in Kijauri, Nyansiongo Kisii County.

Go dance with the angels.
